Part 1: Move Content Between Different Phones (Mac/Windows)

Note: As we decribed above, Phone Transfer supports a wide range of different mobile devices. The process is almost the same, no matter what type of your phones it is. So in the following example, I will use iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S5 as an example. If your phone is not an iPhone or Android phone, the steps are the same as the following tutorial.

 

Step 1 Open Wondershare MobileTrans.

Please download and install Phone Transfer first. This program also on both Windows and Mac OS X. After installation, open the program from the desktop shortcuts and click Phone to Phone Transfer in this case.

 

Step 2 Connect iPhone and Android Phone to Computer

Connect your Android and iOS devices to your computer using USB cables. Wait for the program to recognize the devices. After that, your phone will be shown on the screen. The Source phone is the device you want copy content from and Destination is the device you want to copy the content to. If the position is wrong, then click the Flip button to change positions.

 

Step 3 Select Content or File from the List

Check the files you would like to transfer. You can check the Clear Data before Copy box if you want to erase data on the destination phone before copying the new data.



Step 4 Start Transfer Content Between the Two Phones

Click on Start Copy to begin the transfer process. For efficiency, don’t disconnect the devices until the process is complete.



Part 2: Transfer Content from BlackBerry to iPhone/Android Phone

Step 1 Open Wondershare MobileTrans.

Please download and install Phone Transfer first. This program also on both Windows and Mac OS X. After installation, open the program from the desktop shortcuts. From this primary window, select Restore from Backups, and select BlackBerry from the options provided.

 

 

Step 2 Connect Your Phone to the Computer

Connect your iPhone or Android phone to your computer using USB cables. Wait for the program to recognize the device.

 


Step 3 Select Content and Start Transfer Now

Select the files you would like to Transfer by checking the box beside each file type. You can click on Add backup file if you don’t see the backup file in the list on the left. Click Start Copy to begin the Process. Keep the phone connected through the entire process.

 


Part 3: Back up Phone Data to the Computer (Android for Example)

You can use this program to back up your phone data to a computer so you can restore them at the time needed. It supports for backing up all kinds of phones, such as iPhone, Windows, Android, Symbian and Blackberry. In the following tutorial, i will take Android as an example.

Step 1 Open Wondershare MobileTrans.

Please download and install Phone Transfer first. This program also on both Windows and Mac OS X. After installation, open the program from the desktop shortcuts. From this primary window, click Back up your Phone.

 

 

PS: If you want to customize the location of your backup folder. Simply click the menu on the right top of the window and then choose Settings to do this. Click on Browse to select the file location of your choice and then click on OK.

 

 

Step 2 Connect Your Android Phone to the Computer

Connect your Android device to your computer using USB cables. Ensure your phone can be recognized. If not, please download and install Android USB driver on your computer.

 

 

Step 3 Select Content and Start Backup Process

Check the files you wish to back up. Click Start Copy to begin the backup process. Keep the phone connected through the entire process.
